Your order will be sent with Australia Post using the wine delivery service.
For orders valued under $160, your order will be sent with Authority to Leave (ATL) - this means the postie will leave your parcel if they deem there is a safe place to leave it if no-one is home. If there is no safe place to leave the parcel, Australia Post will provide an 'awaiting collection' notification and the parcel can be collected from the nearby post office indicated.
For orders valued over $160, your parcel will be taken to a nearby post office for collection if no one is home.
Under new Liquor Licensing legislation in VICTORIA, only the designated addressee is able to receive alcohol deliveries. The addressee will be required to provide ID or, if unable or not home, the parcel will be taken to the post office for collection.
We recommend the parcel is not left outside in the direct sun or left for a prolonged period on a hot day as this will affect quality of the wine.

Will I need to provide proof of age ID on delivery?

Australia Post is responsible to ensure alcohol is not delivered to someone under 18 years of age. The delivery person will check your proof of age ID if they think you may be under 25 years of age as per the Australia Post ID25 guideline. If you are not able to provide proof of age they will take the parcel to a nearby post office for collection with suitable ID.

In South Australia, there is additional requirement that a signed declaration must be collected by Australia Post for all all alcohol deliveries, with ID details including date of birth to be recorded if the receiver appears they may be under 25 years of age, as determined when following the ID25 guideline.
